An Actual Case Study

An Architect in Barnet approached the local planning office with drawings for an extension on a house. These were rejected by the council as being too large.

He then went back to the council with a second set of drawings which were then granted permission. However, in the letter from the council permission was accidentally granted to the initial set of drawings. Following on with his clients wishes the Architect proceeded with the initial set of drawings. The following images are of (a+b) his first set of drawings (c) the letter from the council accepting his plans, (d+e) letters from the council requesting that he stop all work immediately and (f+g) his responses to these letters.

He has yet to have a reply from the council.
